Description

Red Gum Honey is low GI, mineral-rich, active healing honey. It has natural antibacterial, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties which help to support the immune system and overall health.

TA is the measurement of honey’s antimicrobial quality. The higher the TA number, the stronger the antimicrobial/antibacterial properties.

Our Beekeeper and Producer has over 30 years of experience using traditional, sustainable farming methods to harvest pure, organic, raw and unprocessed honey.

Tip: Has your honey crystalised or started to become too thick? If so, this is totally normal, natural and a characteristic of raw honey. Crystalised honey is just as edible and tasty as liquid honey. However, if you do not enjoy the texture, you can soften the honey by placing the jar in warm water. After a few minutes and a stir, the honey should return to its liquid state.

Warning: For active honeys, it is recommended not to heat the honey above 45 degrees, which can reduce the activity and healing benefits.
